Sensaria announced Mike Freed, the former COO of Mirion Technologies, is the new CEO of Sensaria. Freed joins the company after a successful run as Chief Operating Officer for Mirion Technologies, a global provider of radiation measurement devices and services for the nuclear power, homeland security, military, industrial, and medical end markets. Freed led Mirion through multiple acquisitions, operational improvements, and a chapter of exciting strategic growth, culminating in taking the company through a public offering in 2021, according to a company announcement.
Andrew Cousin, who led Sensaria (formerly Circle Graphics), for 11 years, transformed a single location in Longmont, Colorado, to a leading print-on-demand service for wall and home décor products. Under this leadership, Sensaria introduced new processes, efficiencies, and technologies, and engineered numerous acquisitions, including Canvaspop, JONDO, Bay Photo Lab, and more. He will continue to serve on Sensaria’s Board of Directors and the newly formed Advisory Council alongside JONDO founder, John Doe, and Bay Photo founder, Larry Abitbol.
Doe, the founder of JONDO, is a pioneer in the home and wall décor industry and has spent the last 34 years leading the printing and fulfillment company. During his time, he has worked with world-renowned artists, coined the term “giclée,” built a standardized global distribution system of print-on-demand products, and much more. Abitbol, founder of Bay Photo, has grown Bay Photo from a small photo lab into a world-recognized name among professional photographers and artists. Over the last five decades, Larry’s expertise in innovative photographic printing, high-end photo products, and his passion for the craft formed the culture of Bay Photo, which became instrumental to its success, the company said.
